Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LeagueGolf application and website ("Service") operated by LeagueGolf ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

LeagueGolf is a golf league management platform that allows users to create and manage golf leagues, track tournament scores, maintain Order of Merit standings, and organize tee times. The Service is provided free of charge.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
One person may have one account. League administrators may manage multiple leagues.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
Attempt to access other users' accounts.
Submit false scores or manipulate league standings.
Use automated tools to access the Service (scraping, bots, etc.).

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (scores, profile information, images). By submitting content, you grant us a license to display it within the Service (e.g., on leaderboards, scorecards, and league pages).

5. League Administration

League administrators ("Admins") have additional responsibilities:

Admins manage tournaments, players, and settings for their league.
Admins may invite or remove players from their league.
Admins are responsible for the accuracy of tournament settings (courses, formats, handicap allowances).
We are not responsible for administrative decisions made by league Admins.

6. Scores and Rankings

The Service calculates scores, rankings, and statistics based on the data entered. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that calculations are error-free. League administrators should verify results.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

8. Intellectual Property

The LeagueGolf name, logo, and application design are our property. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
